What you need
- Base URL — your Sage X3 web services endpoint
- API Username — dedicated service account
- Password — strong, rotating service credential
- Company Code — the Sage X3 folder to query
- Configuration Name — endpoint setup profile
- Language — e.g., ENG, FRA
Setup checklist
Verify the Syracuse web server and SOAP runtime are active on your Sage X3 instance.
Add a dedicated user with read-only access to inventory, BOM, sales, and production objects.
Register a secure endpoint profile in Sage X3 and whitelist the Vyolin callback IP range.
Paste the Base URL, username, password, company code, and configuration into the Vyolin console.
Run a health check to confirm authentication, folder access, and entity permissions.
Map Sage X3 item, warehouse, and work-order fields to Vyolin's planning schema.
How Vyolin authenticates
Credentials are stored encrypted in your project secrets and never exposed to the browser. The connector exchanges a short-lived session token with Sage X3 and refreshes it automatically.
